Now they say this is intended for high performance gaming computers. Though it seems to me if you buy two drives, 1 SSD (for OS and games) and 1 HDD (for data) and still come out with better performance for less money. I suppose this is intended for people who don't want the hassle of two separate drives (if it can even be called a hassle.
Personally, I'm saving up for a 50GB OCZ Revodrive. If you haven't seen them, they offer probably the highest performance for hard drive throughout while coming in at right around $200 bucks (for the entry level 50GB model)

ReplyDeleteI don't know about all these TB-Drives...just imagine the amount of data you'd lose if such a harddrive would fail. I think I'll stick with several 500 GB harddrives at a time.
